Meet the 8 Startups Getting Grants from the Digital DC Tech Fund @ Digital Marketing Company in Washington DC

The previous evening at the DC Tech Meetup, DC Mayor Vincent Gray reported the champs of awards from the Digital DC Tech Fund.

The Digital DC Tech Fund is a piece of Digital DC, a financial improvement activity and advertising effort uncovered in March by the civic chairman to advance DC as the main tech startup network.

The $1 million Digital DC Tech Fund gives allows somewhere in the range of $25,000 and $200,000 to organizations situated in another tech hallway between Mt. Vernon Square and Petworth (or moving there in the following a half year). The subsidizing is focused at post-seed new companies who aren't yet prepared to raise a Series A round, and it accompanies customized mentorship and instruction.

Here are the eight winning new businesses and their awards, browsed more than 140 candidates:

Riide ($172,500): A light, quick electric bicycle that sells for $1,799.

Milestone ($147,500): A guide application that gives visual Digital Marketing Company in Washington DC strolling bearings, made by Silica Labs.

Aquicore ($122,500): Energy the board programming for business land and mechanical offices.

Azert ($122,500): Creators of the SmarterSockets, divider attachments that can ping adjacent cell phones with anything from warnings of dress deals for customers to the design of a home for firemen.

EventKloud ($97,500): An occasion advertising instrument that persuades more participants to join with less work with respect to coordinators.

Vino Lovers ($97,500): A customized, month to month conveyance of wine (relaunching on November 1).

Flexspot ($47,500): Airbnb for parking spaces, which gives you a Digital Marketing Agency in Washington DC chance to lease and profit on your parking spaces when they're free.

MyMuzik ($30,000): Creators of the MyMuzik Stand, a computerized music stand that will trade unwieldy page turning for performers.
